Excursions in the canton of Valais

The canton of Valais is located in the south-west corner of Switzerland. With some of Europe's highest peaks resulting in truly spectacular scenery (even by Swiss standards), it's no wonder that the Valais has such a rich history of tourism and some great excursions, many obviously based around the fantastic natural landscape that the region has on show.
